Instructions for authors

Authors are required to submit a four pages paper (maximum length - 2 pages minimum length) in a pdf file using the standard IEEE two columns format (see template at the end of this page).
Papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be available through IEEE Xplore, and thus must meet a minimum standard for both print and electronic publishing.
Authors submitting to MWP 2018 use IEEE PDF eXpress™ to prepare suitable PDF files. IEEE PDF eXpress™ is a free online service that will convert your source file to PDF from a number of different publishing platforms, or verify that the PDF you created meets the IEEE Xplore® specifications.

To use IEEE PDF eXpress™, please go to:  IEEE PDF eXpress TM site

and enter 42879X for the Conference ID

The submitted paper will be sent for reviewing to the TPC members at the end of May 2018, and the final decision will be taken during the TPC meeting, which will be held July10th 2018 in Toulouse. Authors will be informed of the decision soon after July 10th (about July 13th) in order for them to take care early enough of their travel issues.

If a visa is necessary to attend the conference, an invitation letter will be sent, firmed by the general chair of the conference.

During the submission process, it is possible to compete for the best student paper award. In this case, the following rules must be fulfilled:

  • The principal author should be a student at the time of submission of his/her paper.
  • The student should apply by ticking the appropriate box, in the on-line system.
  • The student should be registered to the conference. No financial help will be provided for conference registration, transportation and accommodation by the conference organizers.
  • The student author should be the presenter of his/her work at the conference.

About 5 papers will be selected for the final and then the 5 students will present a poster (in addition to their normal presentation) to the selection committee. The prize will be given during the gala dinner on 24th evening.
